Charlotte has over 18 years experience of working in children’s services both in London and Essex. Charlotte qualified with a degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc Hons) and has undergone postgraduate training. Charlotte has gained qualification at Masters level and is a Sensory Integration Practitioner (PGCert SI). She is enthusiastic about helping to support children with complex sensory needs. Charlotte has worked with babies and children with needs ranging from mild developmental conditions to complex neurological presentations, ages 0-19 years.

Charlotte has specialised in working with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She prides herself in understanding an individuals needs no matter how complex or unconventional their behaviour. Charlotte is particularly passionate about supporting these children and their families, problem solving with practical sensory strategies that work in every day life. Charlotte is also trained in the ADOS assessment and enjoys being part of a diagnostic team for the Provide Well-being Service.

Charlotte has experience in supporting children who are Picky Eaters having gained training in the Advanced Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) Approach to Feeding. Charlotte has worked both individually with children with complex feeding issues and in group settings as part of a trans-disciplinary program.

Charlotte works closely with school’s, alternative education providers, local authorities and charities.

In her spare time Charlotte enjoys practising yoga, swimming, and in the summer months paddle boarding. Charlotte is a mum to three children. Since having her twin boys she holds a smaller caseload.
